My favorite piece of technology

Personally I don't like to much the technology because I think that it do the people more individualistic, or prisoner of devices. However I use my computer to make my illustrations and it is my favorite piece of technology.

I got it around three years ago when my brother bring it from her job, and we put it on my bedroom. To make my illustrations, I work with the computer and the scanner, so first I make a hand drawing, after I scan it and them I use two programs: Illustrator to fix the drawings and Photoshop to paint it. I like it because is a good tool to make my art and also to share it in the social networks like Facebook or Pinterest.  

I use it very often, because is part of my work. And sometimes I use my computer to find information or pictures needed to my art. My life without it would be very different but I think that when was created the illustration the artist didn't had this technology and he used others tools like xilography and engraving to reproduce their illustrations, and I hope someday learn it and another techniques of reproduction.

My dream work

Sometimes I think about who would be my dream job but I can't focus in only one.  Most the people dream with a work thinking only in the money, doing nothing and in a nice place, but the most important to me is earn enough doing what I like.

I would like work in different areas like an artist, carpenter, sower, baker, also helping the community, building houses, I would like work in the buses playing music, etc. I like this jobs because in it I don't have the need of to have a boss, and I could to live autonomously.

I would like to experience all this areas because all this have a value and it can to serve for learn to live, with my own things produce of my labor.

All this activities would have place in the field or near the sea, because in this places I could sow the land and at the same time do the other activities. To work in this activities I only need time, and I hope finish the career to start to do what I like. I don't think a lot about the pay but I think that the money have to serve to have the necessary to live.

I like work in these areas because have the quality that works with my hands in practice and not just in the administration. I think that I have a good skill to make anything and I hope some day can to achieve it.

AN EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD

I did not feel really identified with any quote related with Picasso or Dali, although I think that their arts have a great importance in the art history.
  
Some time ago, I found a quote and I believe that it has something  fundamental for the life of all artist. The quote read " The artist is a child that has survived". 

 This quote is very important to me because since I was a child I always was interested in drawing, painting or make crafts, and I do until today. I think that an artist always should work for love, and make art  just for the pleasure of creating, like when he was a child and not conform to what the economy needed.

Also is very important to an artist career the possibility of show his works, and maybe to sell it, but also is necessary to say that an artist shouldn't to fit to the imposition of the finance market because he should follow principally his artistic interest. On this moment we have the possibility to show our work through social networks and it is a great tool both for people who admire the art and for artists.

In the picture you can see a draw of Delacroix. This show that an artist should always carry a child inside.

My Favourite Recipe for Cooking on my Own

When I am alone on my home, I use to cook a bigger lunch. my dish favorite is the "Vegetable lasagna".

First, I go to the fair and I buy differents vegetables. To make this recipe I need zucchini, tomatoes, paprika, corn, onion, carrot, and a bit of garlic. I really like to go to the fair, because I buy a cheap chocolate and japanese peanut, it is delicious!

Also I need buy others ingredients like lasagna, tomato sauce, cheese, and milk, but these ingredient I buy in the minimarket because I pay with the JUNAEB card, it is the best in the world!

After to have the ingredients, I start making the sauce, I chop the vegetables and fried the onion with the garlic in a saucepan, them I put the others vegetables. When it is boiling I put the tomato sauce and a little bit of salt.

Then I make a white sauce, in other saucepan I put the milk whit a little bit of pepper. salt and cornstarch to make it thicker.

In other saucepan I put the water to boil and them I put the lasagnas to cook. And when all this its ok I start to put the lasagna layered in a square fountain. First one layer of lasagna, then one layer of sauce, then one layer of white sauce, and then a layer of cheese and so on to finish with a layer of white sauce. In the top  I put a bit of shredded cheese and a bit of merken. This fountain go to the oven around fifteen to twenty minutes.

I really love this dish. and sometimes we make it in family on weekend.

Blog Entry #4 : Childhood Series

Childhood Series 

When I was a child, I liked to see the TV with my grandfather, he always sat in his armchair in the afternoon to see her favorite series:  El chavo del ocho. Every days I was expected to watch this series and although it repeat the episode, always we laughed uproariously. My favorite character was Quico, he was the most silly in the neighborhood, and the funniest to me was when he showed a greater toy than El Chavo's, then El Chavo destroyed her toy and the scene finish with a comical battle. I really hated when Doña Florinda slapped to Don Ramon, I think all the people hate this scene because she was never had reason to hit him.

 

Another of my favorite series that I saw with my grandfather was Los supercampeones, I felt excited when Oliver Atom run with the ball for the field of play and he was dodging the rivals to finish with a aweoseme goal. That was the most exciting for me.

Today I not see many TV but I have goods regards with my grandfather in my childhood. 

  

Something I am interested in learning

I think that I would like to learn to play music, and to write songs. Maybe I could make a band with my brothers and friends and play music in different places, like bars, buses, parties, street, or including in the house for my family.

I like many instruments, like the piano, trumpets, bongos and melodics, but my favorite is the accordion because i believe it is the most noble instrument and it requireds that I have many skills to coordinate the left hand and right hand. 

Sometimes with my brother we create lyrics of songs, and we  improvise while we do the homework or in the free times, it is very funny. 

I believe that the most difficult thing to learn to play music, is to have the time to dedicated at least three hours a day, and have the money to buy the instruments, because buy an accordion, for example, is very  expensive.

I hope someday I can learn this beautiful discipline and become in a good musician to play music and for the people enjoy.

I select an article  related with the "Art Cars". At the beginning there was born like a decorative trend in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and with the time it has massified like a new kind of art. Every year it celebrate the Houston Car Parade, the biggest parade of cars in the world. 

I select this article because it is a kind of art that I didn't know and is very interesting when we appreciate and  we give value to this like a piece of art. 

I think that is related with my area of studies because from my point of view all the expressions, including the design, are artistical expresions. Even, artists like Roy Lichtestein and Andy Warhol have designed Art Cars.

I found interesting when the author spoke about the differents kinds of art cars, and now we can know that exist Paint cars, Glue cars, Message Cars, Sculpted Cars and Interactive Cars this is the most interesting, because it encourage people to play with the car, write on it, push buttons and more. 

I believe that the most important change in my discipline is the distance that exist between the artists and the ordinary people, I think we shouldn't not bring people to the art but brinh art to the people. I think that we should work to change the paradigms of the art.
